Health center buys land Press News Wire, The Grand Rapids Press - Grand Rapids, Mich. C.1 Feb 17, 2006

Developers of the West Michigan Women's Health Center moved one major step closer to getting their project off the ground, completing the purchase of the property for the 100,000- square-foot medical office facility. The project is the main anchor for a larger development known as Mid Towne Village, which will replace several blocks of homes demolished north of Michigan Street NE between Paris and Union avenues. A second mixed-use Mid Towne building fronting Michigan is slated to get under way in the next six weeks, said Dave Levitt, one of the project's developers and a commercial real estate agent with S.J. Wisinski & Co.
