Developers of the West Michigan Women's Health Center
moved one major step closer to getting their project off
the ground, completing the purchase of the property for
the 100,000- square-foot medical office facility. The
project is the main anchor for a larger development
known as Mid Towne Village, which will replace several
blocks of homes demolished north of Michigan Street NE
between Paris and Union avenues. A second mixed-use Mid
Towne building fronting Michigan is slated to get under
way in the next six weeks, said Dave Levitt, one of the
project's developers and a commercial real estate agent
with S.J. Wisinski & Co.
